A graduate of the prestigious Russian State Institute of Performing Arts (RGISI), class of S.D. Byzgu, Aleksei performed at the Tovstonogov Bolshoi Drama Theater while living in Moscow. At the Andrei Mironov Theater, Aleksei portrayed Hamlet in a production directed by Vlad Furman. Currently, Mr. Furmanov is pursuing a degree in film directing at the Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema.
