Lana Shypitsyna

Svetlana Shipitsyna is a graduate of the venerable GITIS, where she studied under the mentorship of S.V. Rozov. After completing her education, she was invited by A.V. Efros to join the troupe at the Theater on Malaya Bronnaya, where she played Lisa in V. Rozov's Boys, based on Dostoevsky’s The Brothers Karamazov, and Aksyusha in Ostrovsky's The Forest. She later performed at the Central Children's Theater (CDT) and the Stanislavsky Theater; taught acting at the Budapest Academy of Theater Arts, and worked as both an actress and director in Kyiv theaters and on television.

In 2014, Svetlana emigrated to the United States, where she taught acting for adults at the private Stanislavsky Acting School in New York City.
