Ekaterina is a graduate of the Russian State Institute of Performing Arts (RGISI), where she studied under S.D. Cherkassky. While living in Moscow, she performed at the Andrei Mironov Theater. Throughout her career, Ms. Cherepanova has taken on multiple leading roles in major productions of Russian classics, including works by Dostoevsky, Chekhov, and Turgenev.

In addition to her stage engagments, Ekaterina is also a film actress.
